The Terry Group is a firm of consulting actuaries and PhDs with deep experience in the areas of healthcare, pensions, and investments. We help employers and other entities address the complex and fast-emerging developments in the healthcare and retirement landscape.

The Terry Group was founded in 2010, but has a legacy that extends back to 1991 when our CEO, Tom Terry, founded what ultimately became a successful and prominent consulting firm, CCA Strategies (originally named Chicago Consulting Actuaries). The Terry Group’s leadership and key staff have their roots in CCA Strategies. Thus, the operating philosophies and principles of The Terry Group are very much the legacy established by CCA Strategies. CCA Strategies, by the time it was acquired by J.P. Morgan in 2006, had grown to over 200 professionals, including approximately 100 actuaries.
